Cheap but limited

This key is cheap but for good reason, the write access is very limited. Assuming that you record over a rather large file and your system has a virus with real-time protection and defragmenter that prevents fragmentation in real time (which considers this key as a DSS), the copy may block the system for one second every 3 seconds throughout the copy. It does not support "ready boost" that brings down the read transfer rate.

The results of my tests are:
Without ReadyBoost:
- Read Transfer Rate: Max 28.9 MB / s, Min 25.6 MB / s, Moy 27.5 MB / s
- Write transfer rate: Max 12.3 MB / s, Min 4.2 MB / s, Moy 10.2 MB / s
- Access time: 0.4 ms
- Burst rate: 25.5 MB / s

With ReadyBoost:
- Read Transfer Rate: Max 28.8 MB / s, Min 0.4 MB / s, Moy 20.8 MB / s
- Write Transfer Rate: Max 8 MB / s, Min 0.4 MB / s, Moy 5.2 MB / s
- Access time: 0.5 ms
- Burst rate: 14.2 MB / s

But for the price, I do not expect more, will have to see over time. Once you know, you just have to exclude from virus after having scanned if it was used on a foreign system. And do not forget to definitively exclude the Defragmenter as it will not serve to gain a lot of performance. There are better but more expensive.

It is recognized on TV the Samsung brand in 2009 and 2011 without any worries.
