Since I operate a from the cameras via WLAN and the second camera via Powerline, I can reflect extensive experience.
Processing:
--------------
The unit makes a good impression optically. The housing makes a massive impression (feels like metal). The wall bracket can be mounted well with three screws in the outer wall. The alignment can be optimally adjusted via the joint - wished I would have liked that you can tighten the screws nch fixed, because the camera can still rotate with force.
Both cameras are mounted on the windward side of the house, after about 1 to 2 weeks use there are no problems. The connecting cable of the camera is fixed in the camera and on the other hand has a very clunky plug (2x2 cm). If you want to pull this connector through a pinhole, will have difficulty.
Software:
----------
The camera has, in my view a fairly good software that is integrated into the camera. The FTP uploads images to a web server running properly. The Notification of Alarm via email with some pictures also works very well. I always get a mail with alarm at 6 images in 1 second intervals sent, which is optimal. But can be set differently. The sensitivity for alarm can be set as well, compared with the HooToo HT-IP006 this camera triggers fewer false alarms - which I like better!
The camera does the software not panning or tilting, as can be remotely set no flashing.
Installation:
-----------
Installation via Powerline (Powerline adapter must be purchased separately) or WLAN ran without problems and stable. For WLAN but must first be selected via LAN router to which the camera is to crediting. So far, I needed the cameras not reboot or so, they are now over WLAN or Powerline in easy access to the Speedport W 921V. To also see the pictures live on the road, I use the DDNS service Dyn manufacturer. The address is attached even already on the device, a bit more complicated, however, turns out the input to the network settings of a router, if you are not so "networking experience". The service can not completely disable DDNS, so that the images could theoretically be read by the manufacturer in China - who thus has problems should not buy the camera.
Note: The camera needs somehow one or two days until it is accessible via the address of the Web. Tip: First directly query the local IP address and then the port number (eg: 121.141.14.121:81) type of another port to see if you've done the port forwarding in the router correctly.
A note too WLAN: I have as opposed to individual other buyers no problems with WiFi. By screw-antenna (included here) even the coverage is better than with my notebook.
Image Quality:
------------
The camera takes a moderate to good image quality - for the price okay sure. People in the picture can be seen when they are not too much in the distance. To have a photo of the intruder, it should be enough.
The infrared function for night running without problems, if people are not too far away. The image is then black / white.
The picture is quite small (felt "30 degrees"), but can be expanded with a 155 degree essay.
Conclusion:
---------
For the price certainly a good camera with extensive setting. Priced at 100 euros, I would have given only 4 stars due to smaller constraints, so there are 5 star!
