I'm here not to the various functions of the device (they are presented in detail in the product description), but reports about my personal experience with it. The VN-731 is small, lightweight and portable, and has a long battery life, which was much bought with a non-backlit display. It's also easy to use, but it turns me not satisfied, for two reasons: 1.) In the recording mode it is not possible to stop and rewind to clear a formulation or to speak. Not later when listening to a recording. Corrections can be added later only in additional files. In order for the voice recorder for professional dictation halfway is not suitable. The applicability is limited to the recording of conversations or meetings. 2.) I find the sound of playing ugly and unpleasant to the ear. Noise suppression and equalizer are the more expensive models.
So is this voice recorder, with all the advantages that has otherwise to offer, my needs are not meet.
