The paper is, as criticized in the other reviews, although thick, but nice to be described as the spiral-bound notebook that came with the Livescribe Pen. No deductions for it.
But what is bothering me enormously that one finds not a single icon for synchronization throughout the notebook. Calculator, setting the time, battery level, etc. - everything available, so you can use it the pen with a tip. The most important icon but - to synchronize short while recording - missing. Completely incomprehensible.
You have to either way to the idea that you get in the Livescribe approach to a proprietary system. Neither fit commercial mines for the pen, nor can you change to alternative paper or notebooks from other manufacturers. The only exception: on the home page of Livescribe can download paper and notebooks, which you can then print on his printer - when the printer packs the high resolution because the sides are covered with a fine mesh of a coordinate system (the pen works practically as a GPS). Therefore, the notebooks are downloaded, though plain, up to 25MB (!) Large.
