+ Very bright
+ Long-lasting parking light
- Switch placed on smooth and unfavorable
===========
The Pico 30 is very small and light. Except for the mounting bracket it is made entirely of plastic, but looks quite stable. So far, he has - even in heavy rain - proved completely rainproof. On bike mounted it looks elegant and chic for my taste.
On the back of the housing there is a slide switch which protrudes slightly when the headlights on the cabinet. The switch is so smooth that the light was turned off on my bike several times by gently pressing the brake cables. My only real gripe. The manufacturer should make improvements.
The installation is to be managed easily and without guidance. As a holder of common to many spotlights this price bracket is used. The fixture holds bombproof so.
For the electrical connections two two-core cable are led out of the spotlight. The longer cable is connected directly to the hub dynamo. To connect a suitable connector is required, which can be detached from the old headlights or for about 3, - EUR available in local trade. The short cable to connect to the rear light ends in standard cable lugs that I could plug together on my bike directly with the lugs of the rear light cable.
The light color of the Pico 30 is cold white. The spotlight is very striking in the dark as well as by day. In the dark, it is also good to see from the side. The illumination of the road is much better than my old halogen lamp. The spotlight has a good grasp.
In the prior headlight switches to power-saving on some darker sidelights. It is nevertheless still very visible. Only the illumination of the road will be weaker. The capacitor for the sidelights charged after a few hundred meters. The burn time of the parking light, I have not tested. So far, the spotlight has persevered every Ampelphase easily.
Overall, the headlight provides much security! Both brightness and the light function have completely convinced me. Given the good price-performance ratio, I think despite the unfavorable switch placed five stars is appropriate.
