The game itself is great. Just as a golfer in real life, I feel the feel primarily as very realistic. The graphics are excellent, the ball physics and weather conditions implemented credible. The game itself is for sale price but from my point of view anything but a "full version" - and that's in a game that was sold to the usual full price before the reduction, a smooth insolence! In the "full version" contained only a few golf courses. Once you have played the first introduction rounds in career mode and must first play on the PGA Tour (the yes stake, alongside Tiger Woods, is the name), it is equal to the second of about 30 tournaments of the season: "You can use the Event not play, because you do not own the place. " Now you can either select a spare space for the corresponding tournament, which rapidly raises the degree of realism and thus the game in the basement. Or you can buy supplies, so from the Xbox Live Marketplace is a fee-based extension. Of which there are several, with a different number of golf courses not in the "full version" contained. I have a little frustrated the same for the biggest package with 17 additional places for nearly 40, I (?) - Decided, including a couple of fantasy places that you really do not need.
Now already nearly 60, - poorer for a game to which it already is a newer version, I was happy to finally be able to play the PGA Tour without hindrance. Error! Few tournaments later comes the next message that you do not own a certain place. This is at least 3x. So by buying the "full version" plus the (twice as expensive) "Complete enlargement package", which indeed associated from the name, one would finally have all the contents of the game, or at least all of the essential content, it has nevertheless still not all places in order also to be able to completely play a PGA season on location! According to my research obtained the then still missing places only by purchasing a "Season Pass" that is a "game time permit" any ongoing payments to the manufacturer EA. Then I have but then waived.
By the way - topic Kinect control: Yes, it works (to some extent). But in my experience, only for discounts and approach shots, so every time is not about putting. Neither my wife (also golfer) nor I have hinbekommen in several hours trying even once comprehensible perform a correct Putt - no matter how you position yourself for Kinect sensor out. Nice that there is ever a Kinect controller for the game. Can use completely make you feel comfortable not. A combination of Kinect and controller control is not possible. Otherwise you could fall back on the controller when putting yes. In this respect, the (but very good) Controller control is the only viable option.
Buy recommendation? Yes and no. For real golf fans who are ready for a game that already has a follow-up version, to spend so much money, I say clearly: yes! All others should carefully consider it.
