One must directly hold times that the term "mini" can hardly be based on the display size probably because these only 0.4 inches smaller than the HTC One. With "mini" possibly being the facilities meant in comparison to the HTC One. Because instead of a quad-core CPU and 2GB RAM, "only" a dual-core CPU and 1GB RAM are installed in the mini. Otherwise, these two devices do not differ.
Despite the lower-performance equipment, the One mini runs very smoothly and easily. Apps open quickly, the Internet via the mobile network and the wireless network running smoothly. The partly so sharply criticized Camera One mini is not bad, and for a smartphone anyway more than enough. Even the display is top with its non-Full HD resolution.
A clear plus over the other high priced smartphones is the sound quality. Anyone who places great emphasis on music quality on the go, which is in good hands at the HTC One mini.
Another important point is the battery. As might be expected, also keeps the battery from this unit not by week, but two days of battery life with regular use of apps like WhatsApp and calls quite possible.
The only negative thing I have noticed so far, the software HTC Sync was to calibrate the device to the computer. The software is a filter on the network card installed which could lead to connectivity issues (so at least in my case). After uninstalling the filter, but everything worked again properly.
All in all I am very satisfied with the device and it can only recommend it, because in my opinion the price compared to some other devices is still OK.
