- Branches are displayed too late and announced
- The much too small symbols are practical with gloves can not be operated
(Running at TomTom really anybody own motorcycle!)
- Skip via points or mark as visited only by cumbersome
Operation possible and absolutely during the trip unfeasible
- The promised Tyre activation code is despite complaints to the TomTom Support
2 weeks waiting time still not arrived with me. Well, Tyre runs so anyway,
then just by advertising on the right side
- And now the Oberhammer, Tyre routes NOT can be directly on the Rider 400
Write, allegedly because of license disputes between TomTom and Microsoft;
So you have to write the planned route only on a micro-SD and then
purely fumble in the extremely fiddly card slot of Rider 400, which no mini-
Tool such as a forceps is hardly feasible. From there, the riders reads this route
then fortunately under "My routes". What a nightmare, who can be
something come up that's EDP / navigation on foot, as can the bits still the same
over carry individually.
Unfortunately, the competitor's even worse, is the winding mode at Garmin
namely almost useless and who wants already planning routes with Basecamp, that's the
even worse nightmare.
So I will, willy-nilly reserve the Rider 400 and the programmer of TomTom and
Tyre (embarrassing that TomTom nothing own presents to his feet) in my night prayer
Include so that eventually comes out a reasonable and user-friendly software here.
Faith dies well known recently. So a star for the chic hardware, the rest
(still) is awful, because there is still much to do and unfortunately are not useful
Alternatives on the market.
Unfortunately, I have my old TomTom sold too soon, I would have to wait a year or two
should.
Supplement for Mac users: MyDrive TomTom (update maps and speed cameras) it is running
under MacOS, but not Tyre. To use Tyre, so is only installing Windows
required (either Boot Camp or with a software developed by the installation
Windows virtual machines allows, such as VMware or Parallel Desktop)
