- The processing is impeccable, the material feels high quality.
- The flash will not budge on the camera
- The display is easy to read and rotates with the camera
- Operation is simple and intuitive
- With the guide number 60 nothing to be desired in terms of illumination
- Really great is the secondary reflector
- Nissin's 5-year warranty.
The only criticism is the crackle much already described are the lightning by itself. That's a bit strange, so no full marks, but a star deduction.
I hold the Nissin Di866 MarkII for a very good and cheap alternative to the original Nikon Speedlights SB-700, SB-910 and the Metz 58 AF-2. The Nikon devices are in the process a little better, but also much more expensive. Comparable in performance SB-910 will cost 150 more smooth! However, the Nikon Speedlights do not have a secondary reflector and only one year warranty, which I think is very weak!
Compared with the Metz 58 AF-2 me how to operate the Nissin Di866 MarkII like much better. And besides, the Nissin has 80 price advantage.
