POSITIVE:
+ Very good display (IPS)
+ Everything seemed very valuable and is well made
+ Keyboard illumination
+ Class sound
+ Good battery life (films, Internet about 5-6 hours)
+ Windows 7 no problem, drivers have to gather together, however,
NEGATIVE:
- Connections only on the right side (mouse possibly in the way)
- Pattern 2 port (for more details see below)
For M.2 port: I myself bought a M.2 SSD here to make sense to upgrade the notebook and bring it to the amount of time. My assumption that the M.2 port would be located in a similar position as in other models of this series, was unfortunately disproved. It is not enough in this model namely to remove the keyboard and insert the SSD into the port. UNFORTUNATELY !!! No, at the 51WH the slot is located on the other side of the motherboard, making an installation without warranty loss probably impossible because the motherboard is riveted at one point. This has also been confirmed to demand me of Acer support.
Alternatively, I am now the built SSHD exchange for a standard SSD, which is, after all, fast and easy, but of course, means higher costs because 128GB is not enough so.
I have now read that the screw is not to be riveted. In that case, I wonder what Acer has since actually confirmed to me ... Nevertheless: The installation of a m.2-SSD is here definitely complicated. Nevertheless, good to know, thanks for the info.
