The Logitech Gamepad has a very good quality. What pleased me very, is the grip, which is probably due to the reason slight rubber coating on the palm sides and bottom. Even after prolonged play and sometimes perspiring hands, the grip remains.

It is very comfortable to hold, is not too large or too small. The switches and D-Pad, mini-joysticks are easy to reach. What stands out is the perfect control of the D-pad with 8-way control. I have in any of my other gamepads in comparable quality.

Really, I think the Logitech F710 comparable only with the Xbox 360 Controller Wireless for PC. All others can not have the same functions and are in my opinion at this gamepad to vary or focus on other functions.

Compared to my XBOX 360 Wireless Controller, the Logitech is a little better in his hands.

The appearance has obviously been adjusted largely on the XBOX 360 controller. This is the appropriate mode (XBOX 360 compatible) to very good. Crysis 2 for example (well, you do not play with a gamepad, but I wanted to know) usually can be operated only with an XBOX 360 controller. In others, the program goes on strike without special additives. Not so with Logitech, as the signals of a XBOX 360 are generated.

In terms of reach, I could not detect any real differences to the XBOX 360 controller. Also several meters works for me everything perfectly.

However, you should be absolutely sure that the nano receiver 2.0 port sits in a USB when connected. In my case occurred in conjunction with a connection to USB 3.0 (with backward compatibility to 2.0) sometimes the game suddenly strange control behavior. It may also be used on motherboard from Asus. Just in case someone gets similar problems while playing, he / she should look at the port for security.

After connecting the necessary driver files are automatically downloaded and installed from the Internet. That worked for me with Windows 7 and 8 (not 8.1) works perfectly. Unfortunately, a small note was apparently forgotten in the instructions. When installing the driver only necessary drivers are installed. However, an important in my eyes utility not. But there is nothing that bothers? But. The gamepad does not have a separate on / off switch. It is permanent when inserted batteries at attention position. Mir are now no values ​​for how long batteries in gamepad will then do their job without having to change. Does the Gamepad to an absolute power-saving standby mode? For this, I can not make any comments and to make do with a battery cover - Remove batteries and vice versa during use. Not nice and mM the only minus point.

The gamepad is compatible with Windows 8.1 no longer properly function. For me it is with Win7 in operation. A quick connection to a Win 8.1 Update spilled brought this behavior to light.
