The processing of the card is actually not 100% clean, the bracket I had to follow suit, but hey, for the price I put also like to lend a hand.
Scope of supply:
PCIe Card with 4 USB 3.0 ports
Mini driver CD
Installation is simple: Install the card, connect power (important!) And computer restart.
Drivers had to Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit be installed but was not a problem (VIA drivers - Ergo Via Chipset)
I still have no USB 3.0 devices, but even the 2.0 devices specify this map significantly more power (external hard drive 28MByte second on USB 2.0 - 42 MByte second to USB 3.0)
Pro:
++ Klein
++ PCI Express
++ 4 pin Molex power connector (each PSU anyway most left - what I call thoughtful!)
++ Easy to put into operation
++ Unrivaled favorable
++ Good performance for USB 2.0 devices
Cons:
- Processing (slot cover was loose and had to be re-bolted)
- No internal USB port for supplying a front panel
Conclusion:
Even older devices can send something to the card again thrust, it works without any complications to a brilliant price.
An internal USB interface for supplying a front panel would have been the icing on the i, but not expected at the price.
Top - 5 stars!
