A choice made on the basis of other buyers comments. This product is exactly what was expected but it must resolve to accept some drawbacks (not defects). Lowepro quality is impeccable and I keep for over ten years my Mini treker for long walks. Satisfied with that product I did not want to change brands. The Vertex is intended to accommodate the ever larger camera equipment and some personal belongings. The Model 200 was chosen partly for air transport taking into account the low-coast companies jigs. On paper the dimensions seem to agree but I fear that imposing straps hinder insertion into the template and expose myself to a refusal. I promise, the next trip to the airport I try all sizes. The straps are comfortable, overstuffed and improve portability. Nevertheless the rigidity of the bag, the volume and weight do not allow intensive use especially for people prone to back pain. I found the interior design of my previous bag with removable partitions in large numbers. In addition Vertex is embellished with many small practical pockets for small items. An effective and quality accessory allows the outer harbor of my tripod but the weight condemns me to short journeys or bring myself to only carry one goal. The pocket computer, well cushioned against shocks, may not be suitable for other large or protruding shapes objects. Externally the design is class into the finish. I just hope the closures with plastic protection against splashing water, take long. The bag is fitted with a plastic cover to cover all except the straps at the weather. Considering the features, quality, internal volume and reasonable price compared to other models I do not regret my choice. Weight is mandatory to return the necessary quality that one can expect from such a product. An outside pocket to grab the device without removing the backpack was convenient but on the other hand this design reassures me against flights in the crowd (I leave nothing of value in the outside pockets).
