First, I must mention that the topic Waffle Makers with us are more than 4J. is talking. My husband wanted to always have waffles, but I had an older model somewhere in the kitchen, with no single waffle let cook. It was needed gallons of oil at least fragments of waffle rauszubekommen.
Since we now have almost 1-year-old twins and I feel all Baby biscuits as very sweet, I decided to try it again. With home-made waffles.
And I have long thought and studied Reviews .... and finally opted for Tefal ..... and no regrets.
In some reviews of Tefal is described that it smells very strong.
This smell I've also noticed when unpacking. I have the iron cleaned with a detergent sensitive bit, then a damp paper towel when heated first "mitgebacken" ... instead of dough.
And I did not notice at the first waffle. And I am very sensitive to what "terms as New odors.
The recipe specified in the brochure is very "easy", succeed well and you have everything at home:
200g butter or oil, 160g icing sugar, 1Pck.Vanillinzucker, 4 eggs, 1 pinch of salt, 300g flour, 1/2 packet of baking powder, 125g soda water.
However, I have taken only 100g sugar, but will be reduced to 70-80g.
My conclusion: a class waffle maker that now gets a permanent place in the kitchen, because it is now mind.3x enter the week waffles.
The waffles I have brought out a wooden skewer. After 4min at level 4, the waffles are super crispy and can be easily and anpiecksen rausholen. The iron itself I have not greased. Next time I'll try the oil in the dough.
The exact conversion for oil instead of butter in the dough is 80g oil 100g butter instead. Applies to all Rührkuchenteige (in pastry or dough of course you can not replace butter).
Had I known how wonderful this simple waffle iron works, I would long ago
a new one purchased.
I can recommend it calmed down now.
And on the 1st birthday of our children, I am pleased today .... because then there including waffles with cream and hot cherries :-).
Best wishes, Claudia M.
