I have the genius bag for my new Kindle Fire HD procured me so this is well protected. I am fully satisfied, and did not expect that there is something for this modest price. The finish is clean, material, namely plastic (no smell!) But with a pleasant feel and good fit. By the magnetic strip the Kindle is set at close to idle. As a nice little bonus, there is a Touch.Pen that prevents fingerprints on the touchpad in use.
