1. possible balanced, clear, "universal" sound suitable for all styles (pop, rock, classical, soul, jazz, folk)
2. Effective ambient noise attenuation without (!) Active noise canceling
3. just such insulation to the outside for use in buses, trains and planes
4. the greatest possible performance reserves for meaningful use also weaker enhanced mobile devices, important in classical music!
Sought therefore, perfect fit: 5. not too heavy, not too tight in the contact pressure, not too loose
Not more than 80 euros for risk of loss / theft go 6 Price
Point 1, 5 and 6 are satisfied the Creative Aurvana Live! in any case. The sound is very rich in detail, at last I hear again those facets that had swallowed my least-80-euros in-ear Sennheiser. The Live! ISTR slightly emphasizes bass, but, thank God, the bass is not bloated or spongy, but dry, fast and amazingly deep reaching implications for the size of the membranes. Percussive pop / rock music comes over very well, especially the voices (middle) are directly and fully, the precise articulation. Only minimal sharpening can be seen in the high places, but it's also not a 300-euro headphones. It is very positive that the Creative despite closed design the heights not cut or suppressed. So is good also useful for classical music and jazz, which is crucial for me. Only in sharper attacks Orchestra, connected to the amplifier, it loses (as they say in Hifirezi-German) at higher volumes track. But another would also probably requires a sub-100 headphones too much.
The comfort of the Creative is very good. If you do not * too * big ears, it is suitable as circumaural headphones. The pressure of the shells you can hardly feel, yet the KH also sits at heftigerem Wind securely on the head.
Points 2, 3 and 4 are completely meet. Although closed, the isolation of noise from outside and after only mediocre. Passengers on the train will be able to guess your taste in music. The dynamic performance is sufficient, however, to ensure in pop, rock and folk adequate volume also in noisy environments such as the subway. In classical music and jazz, the environment should not * to * be loud.
One is with the Live! as chic on the go, and I myself am not a big fan of piano lacquer black shells and gleaming chrome surfaces. The bow of the headphones are a little bit "to move" mounted and not retractable, but the processing is to designate itself as "good".
The clean sound, stylish design and the good carrying properties occupy for the Creative. Who can get over the only moderate insulation from noise and the only mid-sized volume, which will find a very sonorous, yet convenient traveling companion here! So far, he is among the tested KHS closed my favorite !!!
