This hygrometer has a clear display, the numbers are large enough to be able to read it from a distance. Very interesting is the indication of the dew point, which illustrates a temperature from which it will be quasi really wet. Depending on the climatic conditions it is there not far back, when one thinks, for example, to the moisture conditions in the basement. Then may be only a few degrees between the measured room temperature and the dew point. The unit makes a solid impression and looks reasonably elegant. Interestingly, the alarm at the set maximum humidity is exceeded. The limit is% rel in three stages 55/60/65. Humidity adjustable (with and without audible alarm). If the limit is exceeded, a red symbol in the center of the display flashes. Minimum and maximum values of all displayed values (humidity / temperature / dew point) may be accessed. Accuracy can I judge bad because of all the devices that I have so far, indicates every thing else. But now I rely only on this device. It seems to be the most accurate. The measurement uncertainty for the "Swiss Precision dual sensor" is according to instruction given with +/- 3.5% which is relatively good in my view. Furthermore, the measurement is very fast and not so slow as with most other devices. You just have to hold it in your hand, already climbs the humidity up. A slight breeze or even one's own presence in the room immediately changes the measured value. The manual is short and very understandable. In a comparison of the Stiftung Warentest this unit cut although only mediocre from, but I'm happy with it. I use it to control the performance of the recently acquired as dehumidifier Duratec and it is ideally suited. All in all, a good meter, which I can recommend thoroughly and would buy again at any time (especially as it has just become cheaper again grrr ....).
