clear purchasing decisions despite questionable haptics

I then opted for the BDP-S6200.

The reasons for this simple:
Although Panasonic has placed the BDT700 a reference product (in the price range) and the BDT500 up to 4k upscaling delivers similarly good picture and sound quality, both of which are too expensive for the currently pending about one-year lock-up period. Simply because by the end of 2015, the first true 4K players are on the shelves, then technically the offer anyway more and all "non-4k player will replace quickly." So at present it is enough a "favorable" BR player.

So then the remaining choice between S7200 and S6200:
After comparing the techn. Data sheet of both, only one difference was detected. Namely, that the S7200 Super Audio formats can implement better. This was confirmed to me by the technical support of Sony. Both products are nearly identical and differ only in their appearance and even the Super Audio format.

So now the review of the S6200 by now 10-day mission on my Samsung UE46F6470, always compared to the previous quality of the BDP-S370 and the Playstation 3:

TEST Blu-ray playback with "Hobbit 1", "Dark Knight" and "Avengers".
Compared to my previous Sony the S6200 provides a significantly smoother image while maintaining crisp sharpness. Hardly no noise to be seen. All Bildverbesserer course set to OFF. Especially "Hobbit" and "Dark Knight" also provide better black levels and better color reproduction. All in all, a significant improvement. At the sound I could only slight improvements to its predecessor feststellen.Dazu still a good feature: In the options the player offers a 2D to 3D conversion, which is impressive real in stages 1 and 2 and even better than the same function on Samsung TV itself.

TEST Blu-ray 3D with "Hobbit 2" and "Thor 2".
Here the player again shows significant improvements. The image is impeccable. Zero noise, zero artifacts. No crosstalk. However, one must be careful with the MotionPlus, so it does not come ghosting (manually: Unschärfemin 8-10, judder to a maximum of 5.). Image overall still quiet and brilliant. Good depth in 3D.

TEST with "bad" starting material DVD "House MD - Season 3" and "Vanilla Sky".
The upscaling to 1080p manages the players very well. From the DVD image is again properly what get tickled and enhanced plasticity. Sure, no Blu-ray picture then, but all but head and shoulders above the original material.

4k upscaling I can not rate the absence of 4K TV.

Conclusion:
for the price of 159 EUR a well-equipped machine with very good picture and sound on par with the more expensive current Sony sister product S7200, which can make all decent services to the era of true 4k player. Operates quietly and can process almost all sources. For mini remote everything was written.
The only drawback is that getting used plastic pyramid housing that can not look right, is still capable of superstructure. Since the S7200 is probably the most visually beautiful model.
