After I had collected extensively on Amazon and on Youtube information, I chose the Sony Soundbar HTCT370, including because we own a Sony Bravia TV 102cm. The two devices have wanted the same Bluetooth standard and found. My first impression was initially the case of consignments which predominantly contain language disappointing. Only when I between the speakers back and forth turned the difference became very clear. The TV speakers transferred hissing high notes and sound very tinny. In contrast, the active sound system creates a natural sound of the voices. The subwoofer is hardly contribute to such film clips, however, so I just thought it was broken. Only in movies with lots of sound and music, the subwoofer comes to life ("Volkswagen - Das Auto"). Obviously there is a strong frequency separation of the channels, so that even deeper midtones are not reproduced through the subwoofer. The subwoofer is very sensitive (separate volume adjustment) and are individual very low noise transparent again. Quite interesting: the subwoofer is left behind us, close to the side wall in the corner between the sofas "squeezed" - and yet the low tones from 4 meters away TV seem to come before us. It is therefore not certain spaces and contributes to a balanced sound image with. The two Sony devices get along well. When the TV is turned on, the soundbar will automatically switch to the TV speakers are automatically switched off. I am very pleased and think that the soundbar is technically feasible under - represents an optimum - at the chosen design. No Dolby 5.1 surround sound - but a significant improvement in sound. Thumbs up.
