Cloning works, as a useful backup miserable

Sequence. Insights I have gained here (period 1 Week):

- Cloning: Cloning of old hard drive to SSD worked well. Knowledge in DiskPart (Microsoft) are absolutely necessary if one forgets mitzuklonen the boot drive. Have seen too late, that the selling Samsung SSD (250GB) also had a clone tool. Cloning has definitely worked well, albeit DiskPart was necessary (eg problem wg. Logical drive, etc.). this 5 stars (because that was with diskpart unforced errors)

- Backup: you can back up folders div ZIP, TIB or VHD.. That for me Unsustainable: so far no tool found with which I would open the (compressed) backups. There is no tool - which is also known Acronis - which allows you to open these backups (ZIP eg => "invalid" when opening). For me this is a big problem, because I can not always guarantee that a computer with Acronis will use the backup. Therefore, only 1 star.

- Support: support via live chat is good, if a little slow. Support = polite and trying to solve problems.

in total 2 stars because support and cloning this tool to improve something, although core functions such as backup are really very limited ..

Update September 2014:
After repeated contact with the support: confirmation that a folder backup without Acronis is Not available. A disk backup can be converted to a VHD and then mounted, folder backups, however, unfortunately not. As I said, support is nice, fast and benüht. Therefore, I stay with 2 stars, because at least cloning has worked quite well. As a permanent backup tool I am currently attached to Acronis. I look forward to the moment when I must backupen everything with another tool again (which is again connected to an enormous amount of time).
