I had at the Orchestro at least for the cleaning and descaling every endeavor the manual, so this is no longer necessary with the EA 6930. The operation is foolproof.
However, what is contrary to the general high quality impression is the control button. This does not make strong impression. He looped while turning on the machine and responds very imprecise. The latter can be but surely get over, because the menus need to scroll no long usually.
Krups built for years a frothing which a second pipe sucks air and blows the steam in the milk. After my little plastic cap which has gone above graduated lost the tube during cleaning once, I've found that you can produce a significantly better foam without foaming. With each new Krups my first act was to dismantle the botch. This comes at diesr machine no longer.
The foaming is made of rubber and has only a metal sleeve. Unfortunately, this is not seen in the photos. My attempts thus to generate reasonable milk froth have failed. The milk is hot and top swim a few large bubbles. That was it. Eintäuschend.
The whole machine has a very compact design. That one should look once before. I was somewhat underestimated. Moreover the steam nozzle is attached unfavorable and very small. A little further outside and as pure metal tube I would have liked. So it is only marginally useful.
Conclusion: if you want to froth milk anyway, and the machine may only be used for coffee, you get a Prima device. All others I would not suggest.
