This is my first CRKT knife, though I already own many other knife, still lacked a this manufacturer. There is a high convincing tool with excellent craftsmanship, solid (160gr) with 9cm blade length and 3.5 mm blade thickness. It locks easily and safely (Linerlock) and has also still called a patented locking more assurance "AutoLAWKS", which can be operated with your thumb and reliably prevents unintentional folding of the folding knife. Such extra assurance I've seen yet in any other folding knife. I have the M 16 together with a Gerber folding knife (Tactical Evo Large) ordered me to Tantoklinge view because I usually only buy a knife, I "feel in the hand." (But my knife dealer had just no choice of Tanto folders and apparently no great desire to buy a small range to view). The CRKT is clearly the better tools of both. The Gerber is much easier (80gr) and filigree, despite the name part "Large". It is also high at least three classes worse than the CRKT It is a hand knife can not be opened almost the thumb handle, as this sits too close to the pivot and thus not true of the lever angle. Open it can be actually just about the ridged "guard" at the rear knife back. In addition, it is not locked unless the blade is not associated with a quick twist of the wrist to snap and engage (high risk of injury due to unintentional collapse). Compared to CRKT the blade makes almost the impression of a stamped sheet metal part. Thus, with a price difference of less than 15, the CRKT is clearly a better choice.
