The comb is fine with rounded barbs not to hurt the scalp. It is practical, easy to wash and very effective for removing cradle cap. However, the brush was unusable directly after purchase because of the unbearable smell it gave off. The composition is not clear on the packaging but I guess they are pig bristles that have been used. I hesitated to send / contact service Chicco but that was many procedures for a baby brush, which, moreover, is very soft, very handy for the child with slip on the handle and has a nice design .. . So to remove the strong smell, I had to wash it at least 5 times, soak several days with the baby soap and soap for washing. The smell has finally eased but the bristles are now slightly damaged, rebiquent and fall of the brush. Too bad because the brush is in "self";)
