I took size M as for my clothes and it suits me perfectly.
The 3D padding is very efficient and we quickly forget that this boxer door so it is comfortable.
I made a dozen mountain biking (20 to 40 km, I am beginner rider) and I never had a sore bottom or irritation.
In short: very good buy.
