I had actually ordered the shoes for hunting in the summer. They were good for 100%, they even keep dry inside of a long march over a wet meadow, although the laces while holding a lot of grass seed. The flap is sewn up and by means of a (synthetic leather?) - Linked rebate with the shoe, so that really no water. Because they are so comfortable, I wear them now also eager for leisure. I had rarely been so comfortable shoes. Even longer walking does not cause problems, let alone blowing etc. The maintenance is simple, they are quite insensitive.
