I use it for Alcatel Idol S which has almost the same size as the Galaxy S4. However, I find that it is very much in it, as soon as you touch the edges of the sound up or down unintentionally or the screen goes off.
The circumference of the arms must be small enough, I do not have big arms and it is almost to the limit.
