The housing shape is as recognizable kept very simply on the pictures and almost exclusively four-square. This simplicity is something of a rarity for gaming case and for me was also one of the reasons for purchase. It's a matter of taste, but I did not want terror machine that looks as if it came from another planet. The base color can be classified in a very dark gray - the all-black mesh inserts put a great accent and I definitely better than like a complete black (which I'm actually been a fan of them). Even the white Corsair logo does not stand out negatively as other manufacturers having to press the my your logo on the case. But that's all a matter of taste. In summary, meets the housing really my taste because, despite the simple design very modern looks.
### PROCESSING ###
The build quality is good, but unfortunately not really flawless. Even if everything is cut cleanly, there are no sharp edges, and the color is evenly distributed - can not fit perfectly together the parts. Of course what at first glance is not noticeable, but is unnecessary - My side panel depends eg rear ungefär 1-2mm down. Even the removable front part (yes, the whole front, not only the grid) has a slight distance and the housing and a cheap-looking folding closure. You have to really namely "demolish" the front part there is no lever or the like. At the bottom (for power supply) and at the front, the housing has a dust filter. These consist of metal (prop a fine mesh insert.) And is pretty rough - long term, the housing is certainly not kept free of dust. Anyone who wants to install a top Corsair Cooling (H100), thereby drawing air into the case, unfortunately, has no pre-installed dust.
### THE INNER ###
Inside the case are waiting many great features! Cable management is a dream through a second wall in the housing, thereby the cable in a second (spacious) can lead chamber, and "behind your back" lead to the actual destination. Installation is very simple by the spaciousness of Equip. Moreover, everything is designed easily accessible and clear. The Corsair water cooling H100 can be super integrated into the housing, the radiator has namely an extra chamber under the mesh insert above. Next I find, unfortunately, no one;)
### OPERATIONAL ###
The fan of the housing can be (albeit rather limited) control via the front panel and the LEDs on and off. The built-in fans are ok - certainly not quiet as a whisper but ok. They can be with the fans of the Antec Nine Hundred compare viewed from the volume.

### CONCLUSIONS ###
For this price range, I would recommend this case in any event. I previously had a Antec Nine Hundred which inspired me for years and I find the Corsair 500R definitely better. Especially the possibilities of cable management are for me the highlight here. Also nice is that you can prevent laser disco turns into the room but a simple and sovereign body knows what to impress anyway. Only the quality is not on every corner, who wants more, should take up a more expensive housing.
