Comfortable, functional and beautiful

Caveat: I wanted a wireless keyboard / mouse set to use my computer in conjunction with my TV can - without having to move him for it. I have long back and forth about whether it should be a Bluetooth combo or even a wireless set on the basis of 2.4 GHz technology. Because of the reported vulnerability of Bluetooth and the significantly higher price of Logitech's MX 5500 the choice fell on this product. The main arguments were in my case, therefore, a sufficient range and a stable connection.

In the first practical test the equipment meets my expectations without restrictions. The connection to the computer is stable - even in five meters range. Both mouse and keyboard make a quality impression. The software installation was done quickly and the driver may be with all the others, even those for Bluetooth. The nano receiver is so tiny that it is hardly noticeable in the computer. Positive: no annoying LED that indicates the status. Whether the batteries actually hold three years I can not say yet. This supposed advantage is negligible because both mouse and keyboard with standard and thus inexpensive AA batteries (2 each) work. For optimum, fatigue-free work with the keyboard provide the soft palm rest, the two-stage height adjustment (to tilt) and the pleasant keys. Only the keystroke is a bit strange, at least for me as a notebook owner. All special keys are preconfigured and work fine. The laser mouse works precisely on almost any surface, is very good in the hand and offers the advantage that you can use the scroll wheel in two modes: scrolling, or Snap.

Overall I am very satisfied with this solution and can detect any serious negative features which would justify a deduction of points. A BUY recommendation.
