My first experiences short and concise summary:
Delivery
USB hub with 3.0 cable, user manual (in German) and a driver CD
Material / Design
The extremely compact stroke has a very clean processed body made of brushed aluminum. Definitely no way comparable to the valence of her with plastic hubs.
The reliable and sufficiently long USB3.0 cable is in contrast to many other pleasant flexible and not rigid.
Operation / Function
The individual USB ports are arranged thoughtfully and are at a distance of 12 mm from each other. This ensures that, for example, memory sticks currently in use at the hub and slightly wider with USB cables of external hard drives or other connected peripheral devices do not interfere with space standard.
A loss of speed, I could not determine when the interposition of hubs such as the new iMac with USB 3.0.
Connection through a USB 2.0 port on my Asus netbook Eee PC also worked right away and did not present any problems during data transfer.
A trial completion Internet access via Ethernet (connection to FritzBox) worked without separate driver installation (Win 7 Premium or OSX Snow Leopard) via the enclosed CD.
Conclusion
In terms of design, workmanship and function can not be faulted.
Not to be underestimated is also the built-in voltage and fault current protection.
The meantime reduced to about 22.- Euro price could again be cheaper by about 10% in my opinion.
