I use the camera only in photo mode (video see other reviews) and have experience with Nikon D90, Samsung NX300 and Cannon D3 MII - all very good cameras. I bought the camera primarily for "available light" indoors and there she really keeps its promises (the first order of business, however, is the firmware update from 1.0 to 1.1 - which brings felt significantly faster switching and AF performance.): 1. Image quality: to ISO 4000 very well to 10,000 good for ordinary prints to 13x18 useful. For the objectification and the comparison is based on my experience DXO Mark a good choice (for ex. Is the NX300 quality at low ISO values is basically on par, which coincides with my assessment. 2. Silent Mode - scan a great thing to people without permanent closing clack (especially when shooting). 3. Camera Profile and lenses (tested SEL55F18Z and Standard Zoom) in Lightroom available. 4. Fast autofocus - the fastest and most accurate I have ever experienced. 5. Delay (is yes for A7B every now criticized) - with the firmware update very quickly and not a limitation. 6. Battery: The camera is supplied with spare battery and external charger. I come with a rechargeable battery good throughout the day. An additional charger or extra battery packs are unnecessary for my usage profile. 7. Monitor and viewfinder: Automatic switching works! Problems, viewfinder also very good usable and adaptable. In particular, the swiveling monitor is a great help for photos from the hip. Viewfinder is easily usable even with glasses. 8. The camera blends best with the SEL55F18Z of Zeiss - in Vergelich standard zoom is a clear difference in picture quality and also in the AF performance is noticeably (lens firmware needs an update by the way ...). Wen numbers interested -> DXO Mark. 9. Light and compact compared to the SLR Altera virgin.
Overall, I think apart from the still limited range of lenses compared to the SLR, the superior system - I think the mirrorless full format is the future belong. Let's hope that Sony and lens manufacturers go the way on.
Update 4/12/2015: Next very happy with the camera. Currently there are software updates by the manufacturer (good product maintenance), which shorten the turn-again noticeably.
