+ Zoom range of 27-270mm very practical.
+ Very good image quality up to ISO 400, including, ISO 800 good ISO 1600 at 5MP still useful
+ Many manual options
+ Raising the dynamics possible in almost all modes and effective
+ Pro Focus Mode provides surprisingly good results when the conditions are right. But is not an effective substitute for the missing option to influence the depth of field on a real iris.
- Automatic mode EXR Auto can not be limited to ISO 800, otherwise it would be perfect.
- For optimum picture quality, manual settings required, but worth it.
-Pro Low light mode is disappointing. Slow shutter, tripod and ISO 200 in manual mode delivers much better results.
Overall, the noise performance of the F70 "honest", the images at high ISO values have a fine grain structure that is reminiscent of the old grain of highly sensitive analog films. No flat ironed noise suppressed pixels mud.
For me, finally the successor of my old, unfortunately died much too early F30. Comparing 5MP ISO 1600 images with 6MP images of F30 results in surprisingly only slightly more noise than the F30, which certainly is "slightly" an elastic term.
Because of the possibilities of gave away EXR Auto Mode, there is a star deduction. One must for optimal Bildqualtät just already deal with the settings. When you're ready, the F70 is thoroughly recommended.
