Had risen by a few weeks the plant of LG Bh6230S, but these returned after 14 days again, because I have disrupted a few things. The Amazon offers I have acquired the facility for 149, which was certainly for the purchase with decisive, but have separated again, and try it with the HT-F5500 from Samsung.
Boxes / equipment
The boxes appear at two plants very small, you really wonder "there is good sound coming out?".
the question I can answer for myself and my "sense of hearing". The sound is strong in both systems and from the "small" is neatly out what.
The LG-boxes all only 1 (I guess) Midrange (also the wide center speaker), whereas the boxes of Samsung a tweeter and midrange have (albeit small) what the sound of Ht-F5500 considerably plastic can act.
The sound of the subwoofer is at LG very dominant, it needs to be adapted over the volume settings of the boxes. Here Samsung can score, innately is the sound much more balanced, there is also like the LG the opportunity to end all boxes individually. Could not convince me the sound of LG. A satisfactory setting for me I do not get any.
For me, a plus point for LG is that the system is narrower than the Samsung, so times may better positioning options has (I've made a couple of board furniture where the LG plant in perfectly fits the Samsung but unfortunately not. Optical seen the system from Samsung with its rounded corner seems much more modern, which is also due to the sensor keys, LG has here .. I'd say .. old-fashioned lever, which is not really a criterion, because you always use the remote control.
As for the use of the USB port in the front, so you have the LG DVD-flap can open, which of course is very striking, with Samsung this with a small individually to open flap has been solved, but which one is not so stable impression makes.
For me it was misleading that LG in the product description on Amazon it Hinweiß: Simply> has your music collection from your iPod, iPhone and iPad "games over a USB connection or wirelessly via Bluetooth --- This investment - no - Bluetooth. .. was for me already is important. When competitors I had no problems so far.
Fan / working noise
LG has a passive cooling, see suffering, even during start-up of DVD, etc ..
Samsung has the Ht-F5500 genönnt an active cooler (fan on the back). The louder it is the system, the louder is this, on the whole, not annoying, but if you look, for example, Gravity and the "silent passages" in the film looks (the universe), but then perceived.
Remote Control / Menu guide
Actually, this is rarely mentioned, but the remote control (FB) from LG is significantly better in the hand, is clearly laid out, the navigation key has a good position to be reached. The menu guide of LG is very clear, intutive service included.
Samsung has what the remote As a little work to do. The FB could be better in the hand, the navigation key is in the lower third of the FB, which is not really optimal. Clearly something else is, the buttons for the sound settings are def. too small and out of position.
Smart TV:
LG, no wide selection of apps, not Amazon Prime Video compatible. But as far as the Internet, I feel that the system does what she wants ... even I-Net is there, then not, then not again or. Did everything manually adjusted to my network, but the system refuses despite manual IP assignment, Gatway .. etc .. (I know what I'm talking about), this recognition also ... very disturbing .: free memory for apps with me 90 MB
Samsung, very wide range of apps already installed, automatic network installation is running, no complains, so it should be. For me also important: Amazon Prime video compatible, 550 MB for additional apps, wide range, Samsung halt
Conclusion:
Both systems have their place. If you like simple menu guidance, clarity and simple configuration options, will find it at LG. A system where you do nothing wrong, compromising the sound you have to take into account (my opinion), not Amazon Prime Video, no Bluetooth, sufficiently smart TV, remote control function operates.
Samsung:
Better sound, Bluetooth, AmazonPrive video goes, many apps, div. Einstllungsmöglihckeiten but somewhat confusing menus, remote control could be better. Fan noise (but do not bother me, but there are)
