In turn to EA SPRTs ACTIVE 2 ...
For me, some little annoyances come together and sometimes even negligence of the manufacturer, what I am not willing to tolerate. That's why I'm starting this time with the negative points for this fitness game:
- The supplied Flex-Band is not fully assembled. It must be assembled with the accompanying hand loops. Who has never done this before (like me) is as pretty stupid. There is no guidance on how to connect the things properly.
- Permanent off the Motion Board: Before workouts you will be asked if you want to use the Wii MotionPlus Board. You have to then turn. Then the exercises go off, and because it does not take in 90% of cases, it turns off. Problem: Then the entire workout will stop at the screen and the Motion Board you have to turn it back on. - It's frustrating!
- Wii Remote with Motion Control also turns off permanently. The program stops, you have to activate the FB again. In a few workouts you need the Wii Remote. The same problem as with the Motion Board.
+/- The sequence of workouts is quite bumpy, there are long waits in between.
+/- The Wii console makes when playing loud noises and jerky downright. Very irritating!
+/- Why a USB stick? Comparable also not be needed but in Wii Fit!
+/- The tips on health / diet / lifestyle are quite nice. Certainly the inexperienced people can be a help. I like them not, nor do I think it would be useful and in the long run, the only all repeated.
+/- Connect to the Internet, I have not. I do not want to. Can there sees no benefit for me.
+/- There is a choice between 90 days and 30 days training program. (But you will not angemeckert compared to Wii Fit by the system when you leave out training days.
+/- One has set a rhythm for its training program, this one will also determine the week days when you train, it is possible to catch a failed exercise in hindsight, but the calendar is not recorded.
+ You can get yourself a training program (workouts) put together.
+ The sports * Downhill mountain bike * or * Header Shooting * make at least visually (screen) mood. Basically hide behind the exercises mostly just hopping or crunches or Sidesteps and in style.
+ There is a choice of 2 types of training. A) focus on strength training B) Focus on Fitness / cardio. I find great that you have this selection before starting training.
+ It created quite fast an avatar (similar to a MII for Wii games, but not so funny)
Now comes the more sophisticated part of my vote, in which I draw comparisons of EA Sports Active 2 for Wii Fit. (Who is not interested, please scroll down ;-)
Compare EA Sports Active 2 for Wii Fit (2):
Caveat: I've been using for months WII Fit, sometimes more, sometimes less, but above all because of the strength training and yoga exercises - because Wii Fit is really good instructions. But in principle, I am with Wii Fit not really happy ,, because I can thus assemble not have its own training plan and permanent Wii Fit is no longer just fun but tedious and time-consuming (an inordinate amount of back and click her to do the exercises to perform).
To upgrade rather than Wii Fit 2, I have EA Active Sports2 bought me because in so many positive reviews could be read on the adjustable workouts.
The starch (es) of WII-Fit:
Wii Fit is basically funny and makes use of the presentation on the screen produces more mood. This begins already with the cute MII's and the messages that are surprisingly fit again and again.
A big plus are the balance games, which are now not necessarily fitness from, but where you can in a competition fall to second before. (Header shooting, jumping - our favorite!)
The trainer explained the exercises better, the exercises (especially strength and yoga) are much better, mainly because they perform many of the Motion Board, where the controller receives feedback directly over missteps / tremor / shaking.
Disadvantage of Wii Fit:
You can create and have to zap through the menus to arrive at an exercise which requires much time and in the long run it is not simply practicable from time to time not have its own training plan.
There is no pulse control. A belted body motion sensor as in EA Sports would not be amiss to keep the Wii Remote is annoying in the long run.
There is - in the long term - relatively few exercises that are also only gradually unlocked.
Strength of EA Sports Active 2:
There is a sensor for leg movement and a heart rate monitor to boot. The former is unnecessary in many cases, the carrying of the Wii Remote with Motion Control, for example, while running / jumping, the latter is an absolutely worthwhile cause. (The question of whether the leg sensor works so properly, however, asks me occasionally when the exercises stick to the screen, even though I move according to specifications.)
You can create your own training schedule, or automatically be put together even one, selecting even the time how long to take the training. Tip. I really like. The exercises are then (with unfortunately some long pauses) played.
There are interesting sports, at least on the screen to make some of them a great impression.
Disadvantage of EA Sports Active 2:
The link controller to the Wii Remote and Motion Board constantly lost.
For my taste legs / thighs are trained to extreme, if you can create an automatic plan that thing.
My short impression of EA Sports Active 2:
Well suited for cardio exercises (if you like running on the spot and without rope jumps), brings certainly a lot when it comes to strength training (advantage: Everything without additional devices, only with the rubber band)
Short impression of Wii Fit:
Playful stay fit or get fit is possible - if you stay on the ball and everything not very quickly throws in the corner, because it will eventually be boring. Fantastic, well explained Body Building / Yoga exercises. Funny presentation, you will be motivated, as in EA Sports Active 2 custom (MII).
Everyone has different standards or expectations of such a fitness software for home use. EA Sports Active 2 is the thought her a good and cheap method of how you can keep at home without much equipment, fit. Unfortunately, a lot of fun with the thing goes flutes when the sensors are not working, hanging with the exercises to stay because of the motion sensor is not detected correctly or the FB / Motion Board itself off after a certain time.
3 stars for the game as a whole. 4 stars for fun.
Questions and / or advice welcome.
You much fun and success with the Fit to / stay fit.

PS. If the review has fallen / help, I would appreciate an evaluation very. In this way, to know whether the effort has paid off the reviewer. Thank-You! ;-)
