The advantages:
* The second bowl, I thought I would use it occasionally and I use a lot in the end: cook different vegetables and fruits 2 sides for two different uses (purées, compotes, steamed vegetables) or reheat purees and frozen soups in parallel. The possibilities are big and we are surprised to not do without.
* The closure system, flawless on this model: the former, I always had to keep the bowl during mixing and cooking sometimes refused to engage because the bowl does not take position
* Large capacity bowls
* Double spout of the jug that allows to put it stably to pour water into the tank
* The cooking end signal
Cons:
* A lot harder grip on the old model.
Mixing demand while learning between not enough water and food are not trained or not mixed correctly and too much water and everything becomes soup for baby ... (especially careful with proportions of recipes can be found on the internet, the water tank of the babycook being larger, the "keep half the cooking liquid" appears too often!) For my part, I am used to now (I'm only 3 weeks of use) to put only very little water and keep the cooking juices into a glass during mixing to add more as needed.
My first few weeks were difficult but now I get to have smooth purees and sauces without any pieces, which was far from the case in my first use.
I admit that my "client" was also not always very happy in this first period and ca can make diversification difficult early experiences.
* The cover used for mixing: a great idea to perforate the end to use it easily to pour a liquid preparation but can repaint the kitchen early in the mix.
* Drying bowls: probably because of new materials to allow BPA, water remains on the walls without air dry. We must therefore wipe.
The one in the other, I do not regret having asked Santa;)
