The purpose decides.
The product here does not come close to the Diodorus (Opal). Let's start outside. The housing game, because the colorless "slice" is loose (no, does not fall off, but wobbles to the touch). The Diodorus is all of a piece and adheres to metal already by integrated magnets. Just awesome. The touch switch plays in a different league than the toggle switch sebson. Very serious is the difference of the lighting. The Diodorus throws quasi light in 180 degrees around. The sebson has hard limits, and throws (I can not measure it) a 100 degree cone of light which defines edged. Beyond the 100 degrees is no light output. Looks pretty modest when you consider that Diodorus, which radiates homogeneously to 180 degrees without edge / shadow.
Whether the Mini USB is an advantage, I do not know. I have other than the supplied cable otherwise no adapter 12V "something" to mini USB. So also did not know of what you could adapt in own tinkering in the passenger car area on mini USB. Here Diodorus is no better. The barrel connector is not just the most common and bombproof of not sitting.
Subjectively the specified with 600lm Diodorus is brighter than 580lm sebson. More than 20lm in any case. Can of course be that the better radiation is responsible. However, they also consumed to 1A at 12V and the sebson only 0,54A. Since the sebson is therefore in lm / W at an advantage.
I particularly like that they still shine bright even with empty battery. So for all interesting who want to make so light in the car or camper. From 7.2 V smolder barely perceptible. From 9v it's nice and bright. At 12V a true splendor. So who vorschaltet a resistance to protect them from 14.5V of Lima, will be able to create good light conditions in any case.
