The user manual is relatively clear. Installing batteries it explicit in the pen, connecting the tablet, the installation of the drivers and tablet configuration software. The French used is a little rough but overall understandable.
A mini-USB cable is provided for connecting the tablet to the computer and some spare pen tips (replacement is explained in the manual)
All this worked well as a notebook running Windows XP. Software to interface allows uninviting

set the keyboard shortcut associated with each of three programmable buttons on the tablet. This could for example be Ctrl-Z to undo the last line drawn. The possibilities are, however, broad enough to meet all needs.
The tablet is pressure sensitive pen on its surface, but all software does not take into account (eg Paint). Moreover, if the pen is moved without touching the tablet, but by being very close, one can use the pen as a mouse. This requires a bit of training and skill.
I do not know whether to blame the tablet or rather my clumsy fingers, but the handling is not easy. My assistants were able to make some drawings that I would have been hard to match, but do not yet compete with their masterpieces on paper. The handling and mastery of gesture take some time.
It should be noted that the tablet has also been recognized on Android notebook version for use with a drawing program, and also as a mouse.
On Linux, no special software is provided by the manufacturer. However, a quick search on the Internet to find help easily adapted drivers, as well as instructions for installation and configuration. YouTube videos of complement this basic knowledge that allows operating the unit in a reasonable time.
I tested with Gimp, in which the pressure sensitivity function. I have not dug the ability to customize the tablet buttons that are by default:
- Close
- Register
- A feature that I have not managed to identify.
Two buttons on the pen act as right and left mouse button.
Ultimately, this tablet works perfectly under Linux, I'll leave it at disposal of my girls to give free rein to their creativity.
In conclusion, I have not much wrong with this tablet, which I should make a moderate use but which seems to be perfectly suitable for the purpose for which it is sold.
