The thermosensor is compatible with my old weather station Huger BAR912. Commissioning is simple: define channel, re-initialize the sensor and station, wait until after at least 30 seconds, the next communication between station and sensor is done - done. A disadvantage is the low range of less than 20m in a straight line (with no concrete walls or other obstacles shielding). Even lower temperatures (below 10 ° C) lead to exposure of the display on the weather station, because obviously, the transmission power is then too low. The measured Temperauren between an old outdoor sensor and the new sensor are between 0.2 - 1.5 ° C, without a rule would ersichtbar when high or low deviations are to be expected from each. Undoubtedly, both devices are not calibrated in any uniform manner. Conclusion: good compatibility with the old Huger weather station (for example, to replace a failed external sensor), but short range and no calibration.
