There are "RAM" cells (rechargeable alkaline manganese) - accurate you can read here:
de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alkali-Mangan-Zelle#RAM-Zellen
(Wikipedia / wiki / alkaline battery # RAM cells)
These two important properties of the "RAM" cells should be borne in mind:
- Only low-power applications (in watches, remote controls, etc.), no high-current applications (in model vehicles, digital cameras, cordless tools, etc.)
- Not unload too deep
If you stick to it, one has continued enjoyment of the batteries.
-> Otherwise lose the "RAM" cells recharge ability!
Here, some complain about the "short" life iGo batteries - most likely because the batteries are discharged to or "deep" with high power.
PS: The charger should ordinary alkaline batteries recharge a few times, but they should not be discharged too deep (!).
