When unpacking my first fell to negative: In Verlgeich to Version 11 Ultimate no manual was there. Especially for beginners, I thought it was awesome that CyberLink software had settled on a 300-page printed manual, which brought a step by step the software functions in detail. Although the manual can still download free, but not everyone has a ebook reader and feels like 300 pages to read text on the screen. For these "austerity measure" there is a point deduction!
Installation:
--------------
The software installation went smoothly. 1.78 GB swallows the suite after installation (without the additional packs of Disc 2). This is quite ok considering the range of functions. Well, I think that you have the option not to install individual components of the suite. Who does not need the audio editor, so you can deselect it.
Video Editing:
-----------------
Who knows PowerDirector, find your way quickly. Top Right Nails Top Links Media Library and below the video track. Would enumerate all the functional possibilities here safely break the Rezi. It's all there what you could wish for: video editing, transition effects, image filters, text animations etc ... etc. The functions are in my opinion reacted intuitively by law and for the most part also self-explanatory. A little complicated, I find that you have to specify at project creation on FPS, etc format. A subsequent adjustment of the project is (at least according to my level of learning) no longer possible. which I find a bit annoying. Well, I think on the other hand Formatunterstütung: MPEG4, H264 ... no problem. The killer feature of PowerDirector "SVRP4" is also included. Means: PowerDirector only renders the part of the video again, which has been effectively processed. The rest remains almost in its original state. This not only leads to a better video quality, but also to substantially shorter rendering times.
Audio processing:
------------------------
So far I have mostly only the Ultra versions of PowerDirector used where audio editing was not there. I have the tool jokingly once tried to create a ringtone: Conclusion: quite useful. Something impractical I find only the switch back and forth betw. The overview of audio tracks and the jew. Track. That should have been separated a little less strict.
Conclusion:
-------
Thanks Lossless SVRP killer feature for me is still the undisputed best editing software. Nevertheless, there is still room for improvement. Above all, the audio editor can not quite keep up with the main product. The Missing Manual I consider a step backwards. Just to inspire new users for the fine program. I would advise anyone who wants to own one with PowerDirector, first recommend the Ultra Edition.
