Positives:
+ Bitdefender really miss any activity of a program that could indicate a security vulnerability. (For example, is applied to each Internet connection that builds a program, pointed and the user left the choice to allow or block this.
+ Settings can be made in a clear menu and adapted to individual needs. Thus the user is allowed whether the program should work automatically choosing, or any activity must be confirmed by the user.
+ The design is modern and attractive.
Negatives:
- In some functional features are included, I do not need, but which can not be shut off. (For example, the program contains a so-called "purse" which should allow secure online payments. This is completely uninteresting to me, but every time is started as well when the program starts and consumes resources accordingly.
- The high consumption of resources is the Hauptprobelm at Bitdefender. The program takes on my Surface Pro 3 permanent almost half (1.8 GB) of RAM (4 GB).
- Priced Bitdefender is one of the more expensive security packages for home users.
Conclusion: Highest security for high costs and high resource consumption.
Recommendation: Better access to a program that is not quite as strong, the resources of the PC as claimed Bitdefender. Because many anti-virus programs cut similarly well in safety tests and a similar amount of costs, resource consumption is likely to be the discriminatory variable when buying a anti-virus protection. And ibid Bitdefender shows its weaknesses.
