The NFC tags are quite handy eg for fast switching between profiles, but offer only a relatively small space, so on the chip than three profile Hardcover statements can be stored (eg, WLAN Switch, Increase Volume or open applications). The use is still possible in conjunction with apps that create the profiles internally and use the tags only to switch between profiles - therefore but one day is not for any smartphones suitable only for those on which a corresponding profile has been created. Overall, they serve their purpose, and I am not sure whether the deteriorating readability of tags with the tags is related or with my Galaxy Nexus.
