There are 2 thick manuals. One in x5 & 2 (-?. Languages and one with parts in German, it is not described much but refer to the online manual of the device I would have been a better guide..
Anyway, the installation runs after the first switching on automatically menuegestuert, this one requires no documentation. The stations are stored for analog and digital separated. After an automatic update, I had the LAN network again re-install manually, because I had to look for the menu.
HD movies I could not test but Maxdome offers hammer moderate (with ner 2000 line!) Resolution which makes mad fun. The simple digital channels are markedly worse since my Loewe tube can easily keep up. And the analog transmitter, well blocks no pleasure, but after KDG many being broadcast unencrypted one bracuht rarely.
The sound is not so bad as is often claimed. No Hifi, but quite ok for me.
Toll are the Web content: (! Mediatheques) of HbbTV, max cathedrals to Youtube everything is offered, what is important to me.
Record to the HDD is fine, but you can watch while any other channels. Too Bad.
And the service? So far I was always spoiled by Sony, but the Veranwortliche here seems too much Sake to have gotten. For example, with some effort I have managed to get the Guide set so that it shows me only my favorites. As you scroll through the guide, but always the current station is displayed. The program further key but get all the channels that have stored the device automatically, not only favorites. So useless. And that is the most important key for me! So delete stations. It works like this: option, select Delete, Delete confirm. Then the selection jumps back to the last station. If you have deleted 20 stations, you have to click 21 times more, and then choose option Delete over again ... who programmed that was a sadist. Such complicated functions can be found again and again. I have to always press on average 2 keys over at my Humax receiver.
For 50, - Euro, there are direct from Sony a warranty extension to 5 years on site.
Conclusion: A cheaper, sleeker TVs with many web features. If only the hideous operation would.
