The protein powder per se looks in my box a bit crumbly and smells strongly of coconut - somewhat artificial but not unpleasant. The Recommended dosage on the packaging indicates that 8 tablespoons protein powder should be mixed in 1 liter of water or milk.
I have tried both versions: In water, the powder if any minimal lumps dissolve after repeated stirring with a spoon well to stay there left - with a whisk, it is of course even better. Taste me personally not just skin off your feet, but is ok.
When mixed with milk, I had the impression that the powder dissolves even better than in the water. And the taste and I like that a lot better :-) It is of course something sweet with milk, probably it's because ...
Also, I've tried the powder in various self-mixed smoothies and found the taste very pleasant.
For myself, I go regularly run and climb and use the protein about 2-4 times a week after particularly strenuous workouts (for 4 weeks). Since I run to extreme weight training, then I drink each a glass (250 ml) with 2 tablespoons of powder (25 g). In cold milk dissolved or indeed in the smoothie I feel the powder after exercise to be very pleasant and regenerative. For my usage, the can will keep about 2 months, which I think is priced right. With daily use of my protein powder would however be a bit too expensive.
Overall, the protein powder scores with me through good solubility, high-quality optics and the pleasant taste in milk or smoothie.
