GData Internet Security 2008 has fulfilled all expectations: The printed manual is clear and understandable (!). The user experience during installation is properly structured and therefore clear and easy. The settings automatically selected during setup had not subsequently be changed.
There is no unwanted blockage of content, graphics etc., Internet and email work perfectly. Only the SPAM-guard is sometimes a bit too sensitive, but this only leads to a marker in the subject line of incoming e-mails. New program versions or changes to programs are recognized by the firewall and permanently saved by the positive or negative acknowledgment, a renewed demand does not take place.
The operation of the software you will notice virtually no (only occasionally when downloading and updating the update), boot and startup of the PC running without any noticeable delay. So be it, all expectations were met.
