The DPI values indicate the sensitivity, or the resolution of the mouse. These values are most users say relatively little. To get an idea, I have tried to illustrate the whole bit. The higher the DPI, the more sensitive the mouse. That is, the cursor moves faster. At a low DPI number, the pointer moves accordingly slower. Taking a conventional 24-inch monitor with a standard resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, then the mouse needed when set 2500 dpi only 3cm distance to move the pointer from one to the other end of the monitor. When set 1000 DPI, you already needed 9cm distance to the cursor from one move to the other end. Unfortunately, the set dpi value can not be stored. Once you restart the computer, you have to adjust your DPI sensitivity again. The low purchase price but this is likely to be to cope.
The optical gaming mouse of the Zealot has a very low LOD (lift-off distance). When you lift the mouse slightly from the background, then the LED sensor over relatively quickly scanning. Some other mice, it may happen that unintentionally displaced or driven off during lifting and moving the mouse, the mouse pointer. In this, this is not the case. The mouse comes easily cope with very many substrates. I use the mouse on a mousepad and aluminum could not notice any problems. Only glass mouse device quickly reach their limits. Who is working on a glass desk, must definitely use a mouse pad.
The mouse fits comfortably in your hand and the buttons are within easy reach. The cable length is just so adequately with 150cm. A slightly longer mouse cord would not be bad for many certainly. The cable itself is beautifully finished and equipped with a noise filter in the form of a ferrite core, eliminating the unwanted radiations.
Here again a few technical data:
- Optical mouse
- Resolution of 1000 2500 dpi
- 4 levels adjustable DPI
- 150cm cable length
- Built-in EMI filter
- Weight approx 120 grams
Overall, I am very satisfied with the optical mouse. It is ergonomically designed and well suited for larger hands. Depending on requirements, the possibilities DPI sensitivity levels can be adjusted. The cable length is just so adequately with 150cm. At the operation, appearance and processing can not be faulted. For real hardcore gamers who already high-quality high-end gaming mice such as the Razer, Logitech, SpeedLink and co. Have worked, I would make a change to this mouse definitely not recommend. Anyone looking for a cheaper alternative in the lower 20 Euro area, which is expected with this mouse have his joy.
