Since the switch is running around the clock, the power consumption is a major issue. As a guide: 1 W more cost around EUR 1.40 / year. I had to link our new family house: in the equipment room 16 cable run of the network outlets in the Zyxel, but at these network sockets still barely hanging devices. With 3 active devices, the device needs 2-3 watts.
