The practical side is the extension and the fact that taking less space than a conventional jack, which is very good when the shift lever is right next to the cigarette lighter. For everything that needs to plug into the cigarette lighter sockets, no problem, it is perfect. For cons, the USB socket, it is not completely that. It eats well, but when you plug a phone above, for example, and the same time connects to the car to listen to music stored on it, it was an unpleasant humming. I have not yet been able to test with an MP3 player, but I am disappointed with the shot because it was why I bought it.
