The start of this book was okay, but after that, the hero just Said and thought totally stupid stuff, Which made it hard to respect him. In one of the first conversations with the heroine he states: "I am going to beat you." But not as joke, neither does he say it, Because He is really angry and almost going to do it. So he comes across just silly. If you cut half of his lines and thoughts, the book would be much better. That the book is mostly written from his perspective makes matters even worse. Not only do we have to put up with his silly thoughts all the time, but we almost never experience so the heroines thoughts, WHEN THINGS HAPPEN. (As a result you can not really feel a thing for her.) Only afterwards, in some of her very few Viewpoint scenes, do we get a short overview, sometimes weeks after the event she comments on. I have tried to like lots of novels by CC, and I did it again, Because her plots really have a lot of potential, but after this, I think I will not try again. Three Stars, but only what Because I able to at least finish it.
