Perfect case for the S4 (I already had for S3). Of course adds some thickness but is very convenient with the flip magnetic closure. The plastic shell protects edges and the perimeter, much better than can do the flip cover Samsung that protects nothing. The matte black faux leather is soft to the touch and the original stitching. There are in different colors. The model I received a shiny black hull and back is not foldable. I was disappointed because the case had my S3 matte black hull and folding back. In the photos of the product there are the two models, and foldable back on the main picture, it is not normal, you think you control the folding back. I'll keep it anyway but could return ... to receive the same? A bad point for Amazon and the supplier but not the product that I recommend.
Edit: I did buy a friend who has a Galaxy S4 Black Edition. Warning! back Black Edition (leather look with stitching) is certainly very very slightly thicker than the normal back and thus its S4 does not fall neatly into the Covert hull. We must therefore know.
