I have the CPU now for 6 months in use, but managed only 1 week ago for the first time, using the processor to 4x99% as measured by CoreTemp. And if I, as an old AMD fan was extremely pleased with the Intel product until then revealed himself to the attainment of critical core temperature after about 15 minutes a, for me serious weak point: the apparently low heat dissipation capacity of Boxedkühlers. This I was accustomed from AMD and is sure there due to the price, though not really acceptable. That to me, however, happens to a supposedly high-quality and therefore expensive product, has very disappointed me. I then to ensure no cold bug in my system, experimented (open housing, additional supply and exhaust air, etc.) which, however, only the time to overheating marginally extended, the Rechnerabschalten but could not prevent dismantled cooler, clean contact surfaces and with new paste provided as well without success. That left only as a solution the use of a 30,00 euro "cooling tower", then however with durchlagendem success: Quieter computer and about 40% less fan power 40 ° core temperature! As far as I am so happy now, but the extra effort detracts from the price / performance ratio and the quality impression so that I can bring myself to no more than 3 stars. Since Intel has to make improvements vigorously!
